1. A cat’s brain is very similar to a human brain. In fact, they share about 90% of the same brain structure.
2. Cats can see in the dark thanks to a layer of tissue in their eyes that reflects light.
3. Cats have 32 muscles in each ear, which allows them to hear very well. In fact, they can hear sounds up to two octaves higher than humans can.
4. Cats have a very strong sense of smell and can smell things that are up to 10 times as diluted as what humans can smell.
5. Cats have a lot of whiskers! Each side of their face has 24 whiskers, which they use to help them navigate in the dark and to gauge whether they can fit through small spaces.
